Windows 98 SE, 2000 or Millennium Edition (Me) FireWire drivers are pre-loaded and you will be able to plug and play all Firewire Depot products. If you updated from Windows 98, you may need the update CD to install the drivers from. The Windows OS will prompt you if it requires the CD.

WINDOWS 98 SE 1394 UPDATE - Microsoft offers an update for Windows SE users that enables you to safely disconnect FireWire storage devices and corrects other issues. We recommend all users of Windows 98 SE download the Windows 98 SE 1394 Storage Supplement at Microsoft.com.
